So you want to know a lil more about the person you've found inside this
closet eh?  Honestly, there's not much to tell...

First things first... My real name is Jenn.  'Damensha' was created nearly 6 years 
ago when an old roomate of mine got a brand new computer and first signed on to AOL.
I was doing my Psych clinicals for nursing School at the time, and Lo and Behold
on my way home one day, I passed a car with "Dementia" on the liscense plate.
As it usually goes with creating an online persona, AOL wouldn't let me spell the 
mental disease correctly, so 'Damensha' is what/who I became.  I've always been
just a lil 'off kilter' anyways, so the name stuck like glue, and Here I am!
Whatever happened with those Psych clinicals?
Welllll...  circumstances and the job market landed me smack dab in the middle of
Labor & Delivery where I plan to stay for a very long time!

Damensha was born... Then what?

Just over 4 years ago, I met the love of my life... yes... in a Chatroom of all places!
He only lived about an hour's drive away, and when we met... 
(get ready for the mushy stuff!)
It was nearly love at first sight.  I think that somehow we knew that we would be
together forever from that first day.  We were married 3 months later, and have
been enjoying marital bliss (along with all the other stuff that's not quite 
so blissful) here in the heart of Alabama ever since.  We share our
home with our lovable, yet at times, demonic cat George.

Aaah, so she's one of those Hillbilly chicks!

Yep, you heard me right... Alabama.  I have lived here for 24 of my 30 years, and
will tell anyone that asks, "I may be Northern by birth, but I'm Southern
by the Grace of God."  Do I have one of those deep Southern accents? Yep!
Do I care? Heck No! 
Do y'all know what the final words of nearly every Southern man is at his death?
"Hey Y'all!  Watch This!"
(heheh!  I just Love that joke in all it's corny glory!)

Soooo, What's all this got to do with a Website??

I started using Paint Shop Pro 7 just a couple months ago and got completely Hooked!
I've made so many things that I simply HAD to set up a site just to show everyone
else all my pretties!  So, Y'all come on and sit for a spell while I fix ye a tall glass
of iced tea, and enjoy the sites while you're here!

UPDATE: 2/7/02

Well, it looks like life is throwing us curve balls for 2002! We've moved from the "Heart of Dixie" to the Frozen North... Yep, we've been replanted smack dab in Mid Michigan. I wouldn't know what to do except that we're living at the edge of "farm country" so, it doesn't feel terribly foreign... except for the SNOW that is! So, now I'm learning a whole new language (y'all know they talk funny up here *G*), trying to learn how to stop ordering "Sweet Tea", and trying to get used to all this cold weather.

Ive been working hard the past few days to get this site updated and in good working order... Anyone notice the new pretty pages? I've even done my first Tutorial! Y'all can find it along with lots of others done by folks a heckuvalot better at those things, at Prestigious Park... It truly Is the "Greatest Show on the Internet!" Alrighty... I'd better get back to all this updatin'... Y'all come back and see me again!
